Inspectory is an HTTP message analyzer utility and editor for anyone who wants to learn more about HTTP protocol, such as technical students. Inspectory can also be used as an HTTP server testing tool by software developers and other professionals.

Note that this app is designed for technical learning and power-users and may require a basic level of knowledge of the HTTP protocol and message structure.

Details:

Inspectory contains a built-in browser that you can use to navigate to any website. All traffic from this built-in browser is logged to a history view, which allows you to see the HTTP requests and responses generated by the browser as you navigate to websites.

As the HTTP messages are collected in a list you can analyze the network traffic with full details, such as URLs, query parameters, HTTP message headers, and HTTP message body content.

You can edit and repeat selected messages by copying them from the HTTP message history to an editor view. Here, you can edit the text contents of the HTTP request and then send it to the server, while observing changes in the server response.

Inspectory is document based, which means the HTTP traffic from history view is saved in a document. You can have multiple separate documents as project files, allowing you to continue working with them later.

Inspectory app does not collect or use any data from its users. It does not contain advertising or third party analytics libraries. Note that data entered in the built-in browser may be visible in the history view and stored as part of the currently active document. The document may be stored either locally on your device or in iCloud Drive, depending on your app settings.
